About Us
Our History
- Although established in 2024 as a new business venture in Mesquite, NV., Casey has been providing quality diesel truck and off-road builds since 2008 when he was running shops in Northern Idaho. He has worked on all 3 of your major diesel engines; Cummins, Duramax, and Superduty. Anything from oil changes to full engine rebuilds and everything in between. Casey really loves to build custom off-road projects such as Jeeps and other 4x4's as well.

- At Desert Diesel & Powersports, we offer a wide range of services including engine repair, brake replacement, oil changes, even adding accessories to your truck. You might want to do an engine swap in your jeep, add some big tires, change out your steering and turn it into a monster crawler that would be a hit up at Sand Hollow-( just ask Casey about his Purple Juggernaut jeep..)
- Your Jeep might not be ready for new 40" Swampers, a custom built cage or even suspension upgrades, but when it is, Casey can help you with all those things.
- At Desert Diesel & Powersports, we like to use the highest quality parts to ensure your truck, jeep, or Off-Road build will continue running smoothly, but also make sure that our customers are getting a good deal as well.
Our Family
- Originally born & raised in North Idaho, Casey & his wife moved their family to Mesquite, NV for a job opportunity & fresh start after the loss of their 16 yo son in 2019.
- Casey has been fascinated with engines and mechanics since he was a young boy. From 2008, he helped run multiple shops in the area while gaining priceless knowledge that has helped him become the mechanic he is today.
- When Casey isn't working , he can be found hanging out with his daughter, wife, and their German Shepherd Bella, taking the Jeep or Rzr out or just tinkering on projects.
